With a view to expand the capacity to 100 day-guests and to offer a spectacular weather-proof space, the whole courtyard at the rear of The Bull Hotel was renovated in 2022.
The innovative and unique wedding venue is a hidden surprise you wouldn’t expect behind the splendid 14th century Grade II-listed Bull Hotel.
The merging between the new contemporary Glasshouse and the traditional Buttery transformed the picturesque courtyard and the whole wedding experience at The Bull.

Our home is a hotel. Or better, a historic coaching inn in the heart of Kent, the Garden of England.

The luxury of time
Arriving the day before
The venue doors will be open to you and your suppliers to calmly set up decorations, games, photo booth, flowers and everything else you have decided to have for your big day.
You and your team of helpers can set up at your leisure, with your spacious honeymoon suite ready for you to rest and have a relaxing bath before jumping into your king size bed for the night.
The pre-wedding dinner
Think of Carry Bradshaw’s rehearsal dinner the night before her wedding day. That is right, the American tradition is there for a reason. Dining the night before with your closest ones puts an extra dose of luxury to your wedding. Our chefs and waiting staff will treat your ‘rehearsal party’ with the best of the English welcome.
The rehearsal dinner is extremely popular here at The Bull. It is only possible for being an inn with a restaurant, fully stocked bar and 11 bedrooms.
Part of the family
By now, you have become family and The Bull has become your second home.
You will know every corner of the hotel and the team will know your guests' favourite drinks.
You'll be walking around in your slippers, robes and face masks - the indulgence of getting married in your own country inn.
Stress-free dressing up
It is the wedding day itself
No stress to drive to the venue, you and your bridal party are already there!
On the morning of the wedding day you can choose to have your full English breakfast with your guests in the restaurant or in your honeymoon suite.
Rounds of teas, coffees, bubbles and light lunches (if you wish) will be available whilst your make-up artist and hairdresser work their magic.
This is where the first emotional reveal happens, before meeting the registrar. And then... it's time to walk down the aisle.
In the meantime, guests are arriving, greeting and mingling. There is nothing left to worry about, everything is beautiful.

The midnight hour
Turn the clock to the midnight goodbyes when your guests are heading home.
Remember, you are now newly married and will not have to jump in a taxi home – you are staying your first night in the honeymoon suite!
That is right, you will have the whole hotel for you and your guests and you will all have a restoring re-energising country-farm style full English breakfast the next morning.
The morning after
Leaving the day after the wedding with no rush.
You will have until 12 noon to say your last goodbyes, collect the last memorable pieces of decoration and flowers and check out.
The luxury of time
If you choose so, you can have nearly 48 hours of venue hire. And what a difference those extra hours makes!

Forget driving home at midnight on your wedding day. Forget the pressure to set up the venue 2 hours before your wedding starts. Forget the fear of getting stuck in traffic. Forget looking for accommodation for your closest ones.
The Buttery and Glasshouse is a no rush venue and yes, if you choose so you will have all of us almost 48 hours 100% dedicated to your wedding.
Wedding Packages
We are committed to offer every couple a quote for their wedding package within their budget.
The Bull Hotel has the privilege to be open all year round, winter and summer, everyday. We can host weddings for 2 to 150 guests.
There is plenty of flexibility to build your wedding whatever your budget is, from £3,000 (winter, twilight, weekday, 12 guests) to £28,000 (three-day wedding, summer, 150 guests).
A note from the coordinators
'As wedding coordinators, we know that our couples fall in love with the venue and our packages but we believe that this is not enough. We want to connect with all of our couples and mould our service to the individual nature of our couple’s very own ethos.
No two couples are ever the same, and the way we interact and meet their needs is never the same either. An essential part of our work is understanding the way that people work. We have the skills, maturity and experience to build relationships that often go beyond the wedding planning and day itself. We craft a wedding day with passion care and creativity.'
